Dinosaur Day with PaleoJoe

Wednesday, November 16, 6 pm

Family Program

Come see PaleoJoe, real life paleontologist, as he talks about the earth, fossils, and dinosaurs. Learn about the herbivores and carnivores that once dominated the earth, with special attention to favorites T-Rex and Velociraptor. Fun for kids and adults! No registration required.

 

Teen Watercolor Art

Saturday, December 3, 11 am

Ages 12-18

Bring your friends and your artistic side for this hands-on watercolor art party for beginners. Make multiple watercolor paintings using different techniques like black glue for a stained-glass effect, or white crayon resist art. Dress for mess. Register here.

Comic Book Club (Grades 4-6)

Third Tuesday of the month, 6:30 – 7:30 pm

If you like comic books, this is the club for you! We will read and discuss a variety of comics and make our own. A free copy of each book will be available for participants. Registration opens for each session on the first of the month.  This is an in-person program, but virtual options are available upon request.

Teen Comic Book Club (Grades 7-12)    

Second Monday of the month, 6:30 – 7:30 pm

Join Kam Komics in this hands-on Comic Book Workshop for Teens.

Do you enjoy reading comic books, graphic novels, and manga? Are you interested in creating your own comic books? In this club we will read and discuss a variety of comics and bring our own stories to life! Registration required.

Fourth Tuesday of the month, 6:30 – 7:30 pm

If you’re enthusiastic about anime and manga, this club is for you! Talk about favorite series, watch anime, and more.  A free copy of each month’s book will be available at the youth desk for participants. Registration opens for each session on the first of the month.  This is an in-person program, but virtual options are available upon request. No December meeting.
