Family Game Night

Has your family been cooped up in the house for too long this Winter Break? Come challenge your neighbors to a game of Chutes and Ladders or Trivial Pursuit! This program is free and open to all patrons.  The library will provide snacks and board games, but feel free to bring your own family game favorites as well.

The Belleville Area District Library’s book discussion group meets at the library at 7:00 PM on the first Thursday of the month.  All are welcome to attend (registration is not necessary).  The book this month is Unbroken by Lauren Hillenbrand.

Introductory Yoga Class
Saturdays, January 7 -- 28         9:00 AM
Start your New Year off right! This free four week course will provide an introduction to yoga that focuses on breathing, posture, and basic poses. Instructor Ranjini Iyer has thirty years of teaching experience.  Registration is required, and will begin Tuesday, December 27.

Genealogy Workshop

Genealogists Ginger and Keith Bruder return to give you inspiration and advice on discovering your family roots! The popular four-week “Genealogy Workshop” will be offered in the library program room on Thursday evenings at 7 PM beginning February 15. A librarian from the Detroit Public Library’s Burton Historical Collection will join us during the final meeting in March to discuss how you can use their collections to help with your research.
